I just received my first cheque from Google. I’m delighted. It’s a good Christmas gift fro Google.

With this, I would say yes, it’s worth the time.

How do you make adsense work for you? Bring in the traffic. Simple yet so profound…

The more traffic you have, the higher your click thru rate. Building traffic is a trcky subject. All kind of internet business needs traffic. But here we are focusing on adsense.
Adsense works best with content website. That is to say, you provide visitors with free information on a particular topic with adsense integrated into your pages.

For your adsense to work best, effort in building the website is the key. Writing good content, updating new content will bring in repeated visitors to your site.

I know of a website that contains 900+ pages. I can imagine the adsense earning of the webmaster.

I also know of some crap websites, with two pages of rubbish, placing adsense. I do not know if these websites earn money but I am clear that it is not my cup of tea to do that.

I believe in giving information. Building trust with my visitors. That’s what I practice in my website, Millionaire Idea.

The placement of adsense does makes a difference. Those adsense that I place in the middle of the content, doesn’t works well for me. Those by the side, generated the most income for me.

You got to have lots of pages, to do the placement testing. I placed my adsense at different places for testing.

In that particular place, is it good to have banner, rectangle, skyscraper sizes? I used skyscraper for most of my pages. You have to test them for you site.

It was meeting with my partner, meeting with a internet business friend and meeting with a business associate.

I may be assisting a training center in conducting classes for them. (need to do a series of tests)

The highlight was the meeting with the internet business friend. I knew him about 3 years ago. Since then, he has been dabbling on internet business in a part time basis.

This year, he has gone fulltime into it. That’s mean to say, his internet business is giving him a fulltime income.

What did I learnt from him?

I got a few tips from him. Share one of the tips here.

To drive traffic and bring up your ranking, you may want to try article submission. No…don’t submit just one article, but submit ten articles at once. All articles must be submitted to the same categories.

What you want to achieve is to have all your articles fill the page. Visitors who visit that category can’t miss your articles. Your name will appear ten times on that page.

At the same time, it will create backlinks to your site. (Remember to put down your site’s url in the resource box)

Do this every fortnightly for three months. See your result.

We also discussed on the behaviour of most people. The above method mentioned requires hardwork. In total you will need 60 articles. Most people will give up after 10 articles.

And please, do not copy articles from others.

I had did a test 2 months ago. It is proven that most people just want to sit at the couch and collect cash. Well, who doesn’t want to.

But still got to do something in the first place. Most people are not willing to do that to generate income.

That’s why people fall for those internet scams. Promise you it’s easy money, then you lose all your money.

Ok, I got to go write some articles.

My response, “please do not underestimate me.” Some of you may not know, I got to know Jean in a pub.

Adrian is a friend that we got to know about three months ago. For him to say that, he must have seen something.

I believe he had seen the goodness of Jean. A woman who stand by her husband, supporting him.

Adrian mentioned that none of his girlfriends had ever cared when he was out till late night. The most they’ll do is to send him a message, “good night”.

Wow…I’m so blessed to have Jean. She will wait for me to be home whenever I’m out at night. She wants to be sure that I reach home safely.

I can’t say I will be a bachelor for the rest of my life if I ever let her go. But I’m very sure, I can’t find anyone as caring as her, as supportive as her, as funny as her.

Boring…on bed, recovering from flu….terrible flu and headache.

Well…but I did have a good pre-christmas celebration. 2 nights of celebration. Must be celebrating too much.

The celebration is good not because I’m partying. (I did party) But it’s good because there’s a friend who needed support, and I happen to be there at the right time and place.

This friend is going through the most dramatic experience I’ve ever heard. I am not exaggerating if I say his experience can win the best script in any film award event. Sorry folks, I will not share this story here.

I’m glad that he release it. It is one huge problem that he’s holding it for months. Finally he let it out to Jean and me. Very likely he will need our support for one to two years.

I just realized how bless I am. I do have dramas in my life. Who doesn’t? Compared to his….haha..mine seems like little rain drop.

I always remember one thing from Money and You. Keep drama out of your business and relationship.

It was an insightful session with everyone contributing. This session we were discussing on “RIGHTEOUS”

Such a simple flip chart, “how do we discuss it for 2 hours?” That was my thought.

Yes, you should have guess correctly. I have to stop the discussion, everyone has so much to share. The session could have easily gone beyond 2 hours. The Great Spirit works in its wonderous way. Something seems so simple yet become so profound after 2 hours.

Aftermath of session:

The session started off with when did this flip chart appear? As a reminder to some, it appeared after X-Y Game.

What is righteous? In the context of the game, it is being right in the wrong environment.

Hmmm. ..so many views and ideas were going on in the session. It’s really hard to pinpoint a spot on what to share. I’ll just share my own distinction.

Why does righteous exists?

From the session, someone pointed out righteous exists when I need to be right. And I’m going around making others wrong. However, others will also think they are right and I’m wrong. In cases like this, it become a matter of belief and reality of individual.  What seems right to me, may be wrong to others.

For example, someone mentioned that it is ok for him to wait for his habitual “lateness” friend. But another felt it is wrong to be late all the time. It simply frustrate him to wait for friends who’s always late for 30 minutes.  Both are right, isn’t it?

This leads to being righteous, there might be some level of negative feelings involve. Anger, frustration, upset etc. Because someone may think that he is being taken advantage of, he’s being ‘X’.

Interestingly, those who threw an ‘X’ may not even know that they are throwing an ‘X’ on you. Just like the game, those who threw ‘X’ doesn’t know they are ‘X”-ing others. They are playing the game in a way which they think is serving them at that point of time.

One way of overcoming the negative feeling is to confront the person. Express the feeling, resolve the issue by reforming the environment.

The session goes further to the the word “frequency” or “time”.

Someone can only have the negative feelings when he has been taken advantage a number of times. First time when he’s being ‘X’, he won’t feel a thing. But try ‘X’-ing him a few more time, he’ll start to have negative emotion coming out. He’ll start to want to feel right.

Someone shared the last point that hit me. ‘If you think you are right and other wrong, and you go about in your life to make others wrong. It just doesn’t serve anyone” It’s a statement from Bucky.
