Do you really think marketing is so simple? Just throw some flyers, put up advertisement or have one great hot idea.
The only reason for marketing is to grow your business. Meaning to say grow your profit. Even with the hottest idea in town may not generate the expected profit for you.
Why?
Let’s say your hottest idea may generate the response that you need. But if you can’t close these responses, it will be wasted.
Marketing is a process. A process from creating the hottest idea to closing the prospect. Every step in the marketing process has to be carefully planned.
Few weeks ago, I saw an advertisement on internet marketing seminar. (not from Success Resource) There are three ways to register. Online, sms and call. I uses the sms method. In the end I didn’t go for the seminar. I’ll show you why.
- After I smsed, no reply from them. Am I being registered? Nevertherless, I still block out that date and time on my dairy.
- When it’s approaching the date of that seminar, I didn’t receive any reminder from this company. So I assume they are insincere in doing the business.
I believe the advertisement cost at least $2500 to the company.
I did receive sms from companies reminding me to go to the seminar that I registered. These companies at least had a simple marketing process.
Don’t waste your money on advertising until you build your marketing process.
