What is the purpose of a educator? To impart knowledge? A trainer myself, I felt as an educator, we have to do much more than just imparting knowledge.

It is not an easy job to be a good teacher. To be a teacher is easy, to be a good teacher takes more out of you. The reward is intangible, maybe you won’t even see it ever.

What made me write this post? Because I saw a slide, a powerful slide for teachers. All educators ought to watch it.

Throughout the whole slide, I was all teary.

Seriously, most teachers are not there yet. They don’t know how to teach. Teaching is just a job to them, it’s just a means for survival. Some dare say that teaching is what they always longing to do, but I don’t feel any fire in them. Sad to say there are no congruency in them, yet they are teaching kids to be who they are.

Fortunately, I knew of a few teachers whom I can see passion in their eyes. There is always joy whenever they mentioned about their students. Thank God, we still have good teachers around, although few, but they do make a difference.

Educators kindly visit Teacher Movie to watch the slide. It’s free, and it’s inspiring. Nothing to lose, teachers.

A new hurricane has hit the internet market scene. It arrives fast and powerful, sweeping everyone off their feet.

Have you heard of the 7 dollars report? I believe this is the hottest trend for internet marketing. 7 dollars reports are popping up everywhere.

Instead of selling e-books now, people are selling reports. Where does this hurricane come from?

I just got this report, the source of all these $7 reports. It’s started by one man, and he explained that it’s worth the effort of selling those reports.

In the report it stated:

1. Why selling a 30 pages report is easier than selling a 300 pages e-book?

2. Why should you create your own report to sell?

3. Why is selling a report more profitable than selling an e-book?

If you have not read this report, you may want to get it 7 dollars report.

You may learn something that you do not know, and create an income for yourself.

One of the way to drive traffic to my site is to be actively involve in forums and yahoo answers. In these places, I’ve seen many people asking about how to make money online.

It is true that you can make money online. There are many ways to make money online. If you are willing to invest the time and effort, in no time you will be making a full time income online.

One of the way is blogging, like this one that you are reading. Blogging is one of the most powerful tools to earn your income online.

In blogging, constantly updating your blog is the key to success. But what happen if you do not have anything to write? Your traffic stops, that’s the worst thing that can happen.

There is one place you can find good topic to write about. Topic that align with the theme of your blog can be easily found in Blog Marketing.

Blog Marketing is where advertisers placed their requirements there. People like you and me can picked up those topic that is align with our theme, write about them. And we get paid by doing that.

This is a win-win-win situation. The advertisers are happy someone write about them. PayPerPost is happy that they fulfilled their services to the advertisers.

And you get to topics for your blog and earn an income for it.

Chinese New Year is about visitation. A big group of friends gather together is normal during this festive. Met many old friends, young and old.

Most of them are employees, working for others. Probably “business” is not in their dictionary. While talking to them, listening to their thought and views, I found a huge difference between us. I am in awe of the things they would rather do to avoid work.

One of them will find ways to excuse himself whenever the work pile up. Although those excuses are valid, but it just crap to me. He will also find excuses to leave work early. Typical singaporean employee mindset.

Another didn’t want to pick up call when his boss called in the early morning.

When your boss called in the morning, it means there is urgent matter in the company. Although there is a stated working hour for you, as a responsible person, you should do your best to help.

Of course a irrresponsible person will argue on the other side of the story.

There is nothing wrong with the two above incidents. It just a matter of mindset. The employee mindset and the entrepreneur mindset.

As an entrepreneur, excuses and irresponsible is unacceptable. I cannot accept myself of finding excuses not to work, and being irresponsible to myself and my clients.

To those employees out there, if you think it’s a pain to report to your boss, I have many bosses (my clients) to report to.

Never once I refuse to pick up their calls. Never once I find excuses not to fulfill ther needs.

I guess that’s te difference, and a huge one.

An amazing discussion we had. Ideas, distinctions, lessons flow like the hudson river.

The Most Powerful Force I Have Is What I Say To Myself And Belief

Why is this particular discussion an interesting and a meaningful one?

For many sessions, the discussion hovers around business and money due to the nature of the flipchart. Most of the time, we are discussing outwardly.

This session made a turn on that. It shift from business to self, turn outward to inward. This flip chart is obvious that we are going to discuss within not without.

Another reason it makes it interesting, is that it went way off the flip chart. The discussion went all round, probably fly to Mars, Jupiter and back to Earth. Yet, everybody was recharged, and gain some distinction back.

What do you say to yourself is extremely powerful. Do you say “it’s difficult” or “it’s not easy”? Do you know that there is an effect on you with which one you choose?

A kid who hated science told the the teacher, “I hate science”. This child never score well for science. The teacher asked her to write affirmation. Changed “I hate” to “I love”. One month later, the same child asked the teacher to revise science with her.

When you didn’t reach your goal, do you use “I failed” or “I didn’t pass yet”. The use of words changes the perception of the mind.

“I failed” shift your mind to the failure mode. You feel lousy, discourage, unmotivated when you failed. Because this is what your mind perceived as failure. Our mind link failure to all these emotions.

“I didn’t pass yet” shift your mind to the victor mode. You’ll do again to make sure you pass the next time. You will put in more effort the next time. You learn from your mistakes. It shifts your perception.

“Failure” is only a word, and we put meaning into this word. “Failure” means nothing to someone who doesn’t know “failure”. Take for example a baby who is learning to walk.

Where does “failure” comes from? This question is for you to answer.

Bucky states “Nothing wrong with making mistakes. I made more than anybody, that’s why I know so much.”

The key to the flip chart is the word “Belief”. Say to myself and belief. How often when we say to ourselves, “I can’t do it”, we actually believe?

However when we say, “I can do it”, there is doubt in you. Why do we easily believe the negative phrase?

This is the most important key of this flip chart. The essence of belief, do you have it when you are encouraging yourself?

Do you know an interesting way of looking at BELIEF? Belief can become

BE-LIVE

Be the real you, the real person behind all the mask, Be who you are, Be the person you want to be.

And Live your life the way you want it. Live the life of who you really are.

That is call LIVING.

Is that really true that when one gets older, one does not enjoy Chinese New Year as much?

Chinese New Year - 3 days of holiday, and I stayed at home most of the time. Only out for one dinner and one mahjong session.

I wouldn’t say I dislike Chinese New Year. Staying at home, building my business is an enjoyable activity for me as well.

Some people said why do I work in Chinese New Year. I don’t feel it this way. I don’t feel like I’m working at all. Some showed sympathy; even Chinese New Year I still do not rest. But interestingly, I don’t feel a sense of pitiful in me. I find it a joy to be able to build my business in these 3 days without disturbance.

Wonder why some had that feeling for me. Mostly because Chinese New Year is a time for fun. And most regard what I’m doing as work. Work is usually not fun. I have to work during a time of fun, that’s sound bad to them. Hm….but my friends, my work is fun.

So if my work is fun, does that mean everyday is Chinese New Year to me?

Of course not….hahaha. No New Year goodies to eat, no ba gua, it can’t be Chinese New Year.

How ignorant our youth is!!! Some of our youth think that there is retirement package from companies, if they are loyal to the company.

This is what I overheard from two youth (probably in polytechnic) in the train.

Girl: Why don’t you work for this company? Quite good.

Guy: Why?

Girl: My parents work for them, now they are getting paid even they are retired.

Guy: So good. Good benefit.

Can anyone enlightened me which company still pays retirement package when the Ministry of Education or Singapore Armed Force are not doing that anymore?

Am I ignorant or they are still living in the past?

Do our youth need some re-education on the current market? Retirement package? What are they thinking? They are living in the 80s, the days of retro. The trend is changing so fast that even though they are youth, they are unable to catch up. They will need to go for some jogging session to train up stamina.

Wake up, youth. Times have change. Read more newpaper to update yourself. If you don’t like newspaper, there is google. Google any news, you’ll sure find it.

Even old man run faster than you.

It is extremely rare to find a company without a website today. Any company without a website is certainly missing a huge part of the pie.

However, do you know that even by having a website doesn’t mean anything unless you are able to market it?

We heard it, “build it, and they will come”. Is that really true? Will they really come?

With 50 million websites out there, where do you stand? By building a site alone will not bring them in. While having a company website helps in the overall of your company marketing, on the other hand, it will hurt your company marketing effort if the site is not done properly.

Some companies may not know it, you have to market your website as well. You got to track your website. Track the number of visitors, leads, conversion etc.

But you are probably too tied up with your everyday operations, the actual marketing of your main business. No more spare time to monitor your company website. Have you thought of leveraging on others? Outsourcing?

Get the experts to do this area for you. You may want to consider Apogee Search Engine Marketing

Outsourcing this area can greatly free up your time, make better decisions and of course, get more results.

Did you hear anyone mention that there are no opportunities for them? Should I say opportunities are there for those who are searching?

After being in the business of entrepreneurship training for three years, somehow others recognized me as a trainer who gives inspirational talks.

Due to this, it opens some doors and opportunities for me. Yesterday, I was doing a corporate training. Though small group but it was fun. What makes it even better is I found a niche from that training. One opportunity for me to explore.

2 days ago, a friend called me up. He has an idea, wanted me to be involved. While, I didn’t agree to help him yet, but I am willing to consider the option.

These two opportunities are great to explore. I am concern of the time factor. To take them up requires me to give up some other things. Of course, it’s not my social life, (no more social life) but maybe some of parts of my business.

Considering the opportunity cost, if I were to explore any of those opportunities, most likely school business is the first to go.

I’m in a dilema. School training is where I start, something that’s close to my heart. But for growth reason, I may shift my focus, move away from school. My business has to grow, we can’t be stagnant there.

I am bless for having these opportunities opening for me. I am grateful for all those who see valur in me. Thank you.

One lesson that I got from all these incidents. Find something that you love, keep doing it consistently. This will become your brand.

I found many of my friends like to try many things. Last year, he’s in MLM, six months ago he selling flowers, today he’s in the printing business. He may think he is gaining lots of experiences, however at the same time he is losing lots of credibility. People are not willing to buy from him or do business with him. People just don’t trust him.

To succeed, you got to build your own brand.

Yo! Do you own a blog? Do you write regularly? If yes, did you monetize your site? And how do you monetize? The common ones are probably adsense and affiliate programs. The thing I like about blogging is there are unlimited possibilities.

Now I love to write, putting my thoughts down,(used to dislike writing) getting in touch with my feeling, writing how I feel.

Like I say, I enjoy writing now, and the good thing is I’m being paid to write. Advertisers pay me to write. I don’t even need to hunt for advertisers.

You may have heard of multiple source of income (MSI). Adsense is good to have, but you do not have control over the payout. Affiliate program is the best money making machine, (made many wealthy) but not easy to master.

And here you can have more multiple source of income. Pay Per Post is a place where bloggers can earn additional income by writing.

You can find advertisers in Pay Per Post, click on the advertisers that suits your site theme, write them on your blog and dadda….you earn yourself some money.

Less than an hour, you have a new post on your blog, and also make some cash.
