Relax

A day to relax. I didn’t touch any business or work. Morning went to my usual football session. To my horror, someone from our team collapsed two weeks ago when he played with us. He died on the way to the hospital.

He was a long lost friend of a team mate. While they met coincidently, he was invited to play with us that Sunday. (the Sunday that I’m no there)

After playing for 10 minutes, he collapsed. This is so scary and sad. Someone just suddenly collapsed. Better keep fit from now on.

Took a nap to recover my body after the match. Probably will be watching DVD with Jean later. A day to really relax my mind and body.

Travelling through US and UK

Do you need to travel through US or UK? Isn’t it good to know the shortest route to your destination? It does not matter if you are driving, taking a bus or rail, what’s important is; which way or which method takes a shorter time.

There is such website, map directions. In the site you key in your start point address, your destination address and the mode of transport - the site will show you the direction of getting to where you want to go in a second.

In this site, there is a demo version for PDA. You can have exactly the same function in your PDA. That makes it so convenient. You check on the direction while on the move.

Liverpool swings to Champions League Final

This must be one of the reason for the joy I’ve been feeling. Liverpool will see AC Milan or Man U in the final.

Liverpool in the Champions League Final for the second time in three years. What awesome result they created!

That’s not all. The best part is beating Chelsea to walk onto this final completed that feeling. How dare Mourinho called Liverpool a small club!!!

Well, it doesn’t matter anymore. This small club is going to the final in the expense of Mourinho and company. This is the second time they lost to Liverpool in the semi-final of Champions League. And this is the third time Chelsea lost in the semi-finals - three years in a row.

The hero for Liverpool - the whole team.

Jose Reina - saving 2 out of three penalties form Chelsea. Best Goalkeeper in the world now.
Daniel Agger - Score the only goal in 120 min. That goal is the comeback of Liverpool.
Jamie Carragher - The stability, main man of defence. Always ready and committed for the team.
Steve Finnan - Keep the Chelsea attack quiet throughout the game.
John Arne Riise - Reliable man in defence. Dangerous long shot that can pin down the opponents.
Steven Gerrard - The insipiring captain. He’s everywhere in the field. His free kick leads to the first goal.
Javier Mascherano - Anchor man. With him around, Gerrard can be save to roam around the field.
Jermaine Pennant - Terrorize the Chelsea flank. Bring in pin point crosses to trouble the Chelsea short defence.
Bolo Zenden - Attack the another side of the flank - weakest side of Chelsea.
Peter Crouch - His aerial ability is a constant threat to Chelsea.
Dirk Kurt - Almost scored twice. One was rejected by the bar, another ruled offside. Scored the winning goal in the penalty shoot out.

Liverpool out of FA Cup

Frustrated, upset, disappointed. What a confused feeling. When I saw the final score, Liverpool 1 Arsenal 3 - my heart sank.

What makes matter worse is they lost at home. The unbeatable record at home was broken by Arsensal. The one thing that made Liverpool proud, was no longer there. They were no longer invincible at home.

Liverpool is just so inconsistent this season. Although unbeatable at home, they only won 3 matches away. And now, they are no longer unbeatable at home.

The main problem with Liverpool is at the attack department. They are able to control the game, hold possesion but somehow the strikers just seems to always miss the duck.

What I can’t believe is Rafa, the manager, played Crouch instead of Bellamy. Crouch is just not a profilic striker. I felt it was a mistakes for Rafa to buy him last season. Compared to Crouch, Bellamy is so much better in terms in speed and skill.

After dominating the match for 35 minutes, Liverpool could not get a goal. This is frustrating knowing my favourite team controlling the game, but the strikers are not up to it.

After that, it was Arsenal all the way. Rosicky scored 2 past Dudek before half time.

When Kuyt pulled one back for Liverpool in the 71st min, there was a ray of hope for Liverpool.

But alas, Henry, the scoring machine put the 3rd one for Arsenal into Liverpool’s net in 84th minutes. That sank the spirit of Liverpool.

And yes, the FA Cup holder is out of FA Cup.

They are going face Arsenal again on Tuesday for Carling Cup Quarter-final at home again. Hope they can pull this off. It is embarassing to lose to the same opponent twice within five days.

A new place to party

I discovered a new place for singing. Actually, not I discovered, but a friend brought me there.

It may not be convenient for some of you. It’s at Ngee Ann Poly. I’m amazed that that there’s a karaoke pub in Ngee Ann Poly. And they serve alcohol…in a school. Without a car, it’s pretty hard to reach there. This place is really way way in.

There’re not many people when I was there. About three tables only, including us. The fun part was, the other 2 tables are not singing. Ha ha…they continued to play our songs. We had like 8 of our songs played consecutively until they had enough of us. hee hee.

But it is seriously not many people in a huge place. Not many people means no handsome hunks and pretty babes. That’s the minus point. At times you want to visit a pub with lots of people, lots of energy.

A place for my queen to consider. A place where she can sing all she like…haha.
