Flipchart: The Point Of Power Is At The Present
It started with someone sharing about the Past, Present, Future concept. There are some who live in the past, there are some who worry about the future. Both ways do not help them to be a better person. In fact your past creates your present reality.
You may have heard this before, one can’t do anything about the past, he can’t change anything tomorrow, he can only do something NOW.
In the context of this flip chart, what does power means?
Power can be the ability to do things now.
But does that means being in the present means you have the power? A factory operator is present in the factory to do his job.
Further discussion on this example, and it was concluded that the consciousness has to be in the present, hence having that power to change.
Power comes with a purpose. With a purpose in NOW, that’s power.
An interesting point brought up here. Act with a purpose, but not your purpose. Some of us choose a what they want to do and claims that is their purpose. But it may not be their true purpose.
Another point was if we do not experience our purpose, how do we know which is our true purpose? Well, maybe in the first place, we can never know our true purpose which is always in the ninety degree.
The discussion shifted to time. It was said that time do not exists. Although time do not exists, but in order for us to have a human experience, we got to have time.
Do you know why one of the measurable terms for time is called second?
A very interesting answer to this question is - Consciousness begins with a second experience. After we experience something for the first time, we become conscious of it when we experience it the second time.
Anyhow, are you not in the present in life? Are you so used to your daily routine that you simply are unconscious with the changes around you? Are you so comfortable with your life that you lose control over your life?
